Too many lives are broken every day, every month, every year, in the crossings of immigrants, willing to risk everything in order to be able to raise their fortunes. And despite all that they are forced to suffer, they are often accused of taking advantage of the land that hosts them and stealing jobs from the natives. If we only saw their suffering and tried to empathize with them, instead of treating them like criminals, we could lay the foundations for a more inclusive society.
